Basic & Budget Series:

Basic and budget devices, featuring 1 or 2 relays and a low number of parameters for a more user-friendly approach.  The Basic & Budget Series incorporates the latest EsseCI know how and technology.

PLUS Series:

it represents the most advanced and performing solution of the GENERAL PURPOSE line. They feature multiprobe input, serial port TTL for ModBusRTU as standard setting, menu split into sublevels (USER, ADMINISTRATOR and FACTORY), PID and Soft-Start control, and up to 4 set-points.

Thermometer:

Multi-probe digital thermometer: the analogue input can be set by parameter choosing between NTC / PTC or PT100 or TC J-K, or 0…10V or 4…20mA.

Chafing dishes, ovens, furnaces, baking plants, bread-making systems, seasoning cells, heating/conditioning rooms, packaging, moulding of plastic materials, etc.

°C / °F DOUBLE MEASUREMENT SCALE AND DECIMAL POINT:

2 measurement scales available, °C and °F: when using Celsius “°C” as measurement unit, the thermostat resolution can be with decimal or integer numbers. The range of display is included between -99,9 and 999,9 in the PLUS Series and between -99,9 and 999 in the RENEW Series; in case of values exceeding that range, the device switches automatically to integer numbers.
When using Fahrenheit “°F” as measurement unit, the thermostat resolution is only integer.

ENERGY SAVING:

It is possible to set a further set point for energy saving periods or for storing energy during low cost times.

P.I.D. CONTROL WITH AUTOTUNING AND SOFT START:

Through the P.I.D. control it is possible to reach and maintain the set-point value even with high hysteresis values on the regulator output. That is very functional in the application (particularly with heating action) where a higher accuracy as well as reduced temperature oscillations over the set-point temperature are required. The AUTOTUNING mode allows to automatically determine the PID parameters.
Thanks to the SOFT START function, the set-point temperature is gradually reached, avoiding that it is exceeded by thermal inertia, so-called “overshooting” effect.

INTERFACE iFS – SERIAL TTL:

The iFS port can be used in different ways:

  • to set directly the thermostat by means of the programming key FastSet;
  • to program the device directly on PC by means of the iFS tool software;
  • to connect the thermostat to supervisor systems or to Modbus networks, by means of the appropriate accessory;
  • to connect the remote display SCMV10 and displaying the temperature remote or on the customer side. It is also possible to set by parameter the value to be displayed;
  • as a second programmable multifunction input.

MFI MULTIFUNCTION INPUT:

MFI is a multifunction input which can be set with different functions, such as to enable a reduced set-point or to signal an external or serious alarm.
