The i2Net Series includes serial master terminals and slave modules specifically developed for the central control of large plants made of up to 30 areas, heated by standard or aerated, single or multi-stage gas-fired burners. The serial master terminal is also available with setup and monitoring by PC and software EYE-LAN and ModBus protocol.

Available versions:

  • With software EYELAN developed by EsseCI to monitor the network by PC;
  • With open structure and ModBus RTU port for the connection to existing monitoring systems, ModBus compatible;
  • BACnet port, for the connection to HVAC network (contact EsseCI for further info);
  • Bidirectional router to extend the network up to 60 heaters;

SERIAL MASTER TERMINAL 

  • SCM850B

Serial master terminal equipped with a large backlit LCD display: it ensures easy viewing and provides clear information at a glance about alarm and events in progress. Every parameter is accompanied by a scrolling text message which describes its function and makes device and network even easier and quicker to setup. A PC is not required to use and set up network and device itself. The SCM850 controls up to 60 zone modules (60 heating zones) independently; each of them has its proper room probe (or network probe) and daily / weekly setting. The SCM850 features 2 room probe inputs, to which it is possible to enslave the functioning of the serial slave unit. Doing so, you create 2 macro heating areas: it is the ideal solution to manage large plants heated by warm air generators. To connect the master device SCM850 to your PC and use the setup and monitoring software EYE-LAN, the TCP-IP expansion slot is required (this option may be purchased at any time).

  • SCM805D

Serial master terminal equipped with LED display + icons. It controls up to 60 zone modules independently, that is 60 heating zones; each of them has its proper room probe (or network probe) and daily / weekly setting. To setup and monitor the entire network (SCM805 + serial slave units + sensors connected) a PC with the software EYELAN installed is required. The SCM805 is supplied with the software pack EYE-LAN LITE.

SERIAL SLAVE MODULES

Zone chrono-thermostat for single-flame burner

  • SCQ60: Chrono-thermostat to control 1 heating zone with 4 single flame heaters: 8 outputs (TA1-2-3-4, RT1-2-3-4) and 8 inputs AC (ON1-2-3-4, BLOCK 1-2-3-4).
    • Display of temperature, time and days;
    • 8 device indicator lights: 4 ON/ 4 alarm;
    • RESET of all devices or of the lockout devices by key;
    • Possibility to exclude 1 or more devices by key;
    • IFS tools to program and update the device by PC;
    • Black bulb probe with key selector.
  • SCQ71:  Chrono-thermostat to control 1 heating zone with 2 single flame heaters: 3 outputs (TA1, TA2, RT) and 4 AC inputs AC (ON1-2, BLOCK1-2).
    • Housing: main electronic board without display panel;
    • device indicator lights: 2 ON/ 2 alarm;
    • RESET of all devices or of the lockout devices by key;

Zone chrono-thermostat for two-flame burner

  • SCQ72: Chrono-thermostat to control 1 heating zone with 1 two-flame burner: 3 outputs (TA-LO, TA-HI, RT) and 6 AC inputs (ON_LO, ON-HI, BLOCK, AUX1-2-3).
    • 4 device indicator lights for device status;
    • Wide reset, max power at heating plant start up, etc.;
    • Built-in timer: to set the working periods of every single heater;
    • IFS tools to program and update the device by PC;
    • Black bulb probe with key selector.

Zone chrono-thermostat for more single-flame burners

  • SCQ65: i2Net control unit for iNet sub-network: 1 heating zone made of serial subnet of up 16 modules SCHH10 corresponding to 16 single stage heaters. The device makes it possible to manage an iNet network by an i2Net terminal and by EYELAN software.

 

SERIAL / STAND ALONE CONTROL UNIT

SCB40: New chrono-thermostat, highly configurable, which allows distributors and OEMs greater stock optimization and storage capacity: just one device suitable to 10 different applications. Indeed it may be used as stand-alone or network solution supervised by PC thanks to the EYE-LAN software. It features 6 outputs (4 burners + 1 RESET + 1 FAN) and it can be set by parameter in 9 different working modes to control: 1 or 2 heating zones, up to 4 single flame burners / warm air generators or 2 independent two-flame burners with or without common exhaust fan.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

  • 1 AC input for burner lockout indicator light;
  • 5 probe inputs: 2 BMS inputs (remote on/off), 2 room probe inputs, 1 external probe input;
  • 6 outputs: 4 burner outputs (TA1-4 or TA_Hi1-2 and TA_Lo1-2), 1 RST output and FAN output;
  • Serial port for SCBus protocol and possibility to be monitored by the EYE-LAN software;
  • Wide reset, max power at heating plant start up, etc.;
  • Built-in timer.
  • IFS tools to program and update the device by PC.
